Information Technology (IT) is an engineering division, which concentrates on:

  • The study of utilizing computers and telecommunications in order to control, gather, store and circulate information.
  • Both software and hardware sectors are parts of Information.

Eligibility:

The subjects that need to be taken after class 10th to pursue information technology as a career option are:

  •   Physics
  • Chemistry and
  • Mathematics.

After completing 10+2 level studies with 50% marks you need to appear in various competitive examinations like IIT JEE,AIEEE and other state level examinations(CET) . After qualifying the examination you can pursue B.E/B.TECH in information technology from various colleges. The duration of this course is 4 years.
