Aerospace engineering is the branch of engineering concerned with:

  • Research, design, development, construction, testing, science and technology of aircraft and spacecraft.
  • It is divided into two major and overlapping branches: aeronautical engineering and astronautical engineering.
  • Aeronautics deals with aircraft that operate in Earth’s atmosphere
  • Astronautics deals with spacecraft that operate outside the Earth’s atmosphere.

Eligibility:

The subjects that need to be taken after class 10th to pursue aeronautical engineering as a career option are :

  • Physics
  • Chemistry
  • Mathematics

After completing 10+2 level studies you need to appear in various competitive examinations like IIT JEE,AIEEE and other state level examinations(CET).After qualifying the examination you can pursue B.E/B.TECH in aeronautical engineering from various colleges.
