  • A radiologic technologist, also known as medical radiation technologist and as radiographer, performs imaging of the human body for diagnosis or treating medical problems.
  • Radiologists use an array of imaging technologies such as X-ray radiography, ultrasound, computed tomography (CT), nuclear medicine, positron emission tomography (PET) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) to diagnose or treat diseases .Radiologic technologists work in hospitals, clinics, and private practice.

Eligibility:

The subjects that need to be taken after 1oth to pursue radiology as a career option are:

  • Physics
  • Chemistry
  • Biology and
  • Mathematics

After completing 10+2 with 50% marks one can apply for bachelor’s degree. The duration for bachelor’s degree program is 3 years. you can also take admissions in diploma program after 10+2 .The duration of diploma program is 2 years.
