In the ongoing first of its kind night football tournament in J&K, ‘Chinar Cup’ being held at Delhi Public School Srinagar two matches were played on Monday.
In the first match, Army Goodwill Public School Pahalgam played against AGS Bandipora-Sopore. After being tied 1-1, AGS Pahalgam was able to get lead in dyeing moments of game through brilliant goal scored by Muzaffar. Sahil Bashir of AGS Bandipore-Sopore was declared the man of the match.
In the second match of the night Burhan Hall School, Srinagar and Tyndale Biscoe School, Srinagar played against eachother.
Tyndale Biscoe consolidated its position in the first half scoring two goals. Burn Hall tried to mount a counter attack in the second attack but could only manage one goal.
Araib Choudhary of Tyndale Biscoe was declared the man of the match.
