A girl student of Delhi Public School (DPS- Srinagar) student has won bronze medal in National games championship in New Delhi.
“Afreen, a student of class XI, has made her state and school proud by winning a bronze medal in Taekwondo under 19 category in 62 National School Games Championship. With this victory, Afreen became the only girl from Kashmir having ever won a medal in this championship,” a spokesman of DPS said in a statement.
Another girl Sadiya Bilal of class X also participated in the Taekwondo championship and won two fights out the total three.
